Going into Monday I had no idea what to expect as this was my first J-Term, but once class started we were tasked with finding some inspiration for our diorama and shadowbox, after some time of scouring the internet I finally found a Japanese-style diorama, I choose this Japanese style sketch because later this year I am going to japan so I thought that it was a good idea, once I found it I began on my sketch that took a while as I made small adjustments to the photo below and had to make several changes to my sketch.
Looking back at Monday, I was pleased with my productivity. I was barely distracted and not easily distracted by my peers. Although I was productive, I wasn't able to think of an idea for my other project, the shadowbox. I looked at different websites that sell shadowboxes, but after a couple of hours, I still didn't find my inspiration. I was proud of my Japanese-style sketch as it was very detailed and it came out better than I expected. For tomorrow I want to find another idea for my shadowbox, sketch it out, and begin using Adobe Illustrator.
