Day 2: Ian A

On the second day, I started by brainstorming ideas for my shadowbox. Once I found the right inspiration, I sketched out my concept. After completing both sketches, I moved on to Adobe Illustrator. So far, I’m about 10 percent done with my digital sketch, which features a detailed cityscape. The intricate details have taken a significant amount of time to develop.

While I made good progress in Adobe Illustrator, I struggled with maintaining focus. I found myself easily distracted by conversations with my peers, which slowed down my work. Despite this, I’m proud of my pencil sketch of the shadowbox. It required much more time and effort than the first one, but the end result was worth it. Looking ahead, my goals for tomorrow are to complete the Adobe Illustrator sketch and choose the color of paper I’ll use for the diorama.
