Today, I began with a lesson on how to use Adobe Illustrator. Afterward, I started brainstorming ideas for my shadow box and diorama. For my diorama, I chose an Italy theme because of my strong Italian heritage, and I wanted to represent that in my work. For the shadow box, I decided to feature the David statue, as I had the opportunity to see it in Italy, and it left a lasting impression on me. Once I had these concepts in mind, I made a rough sketch of my ideas. After that, I began bringing them to life using Adobe Illustrator.
What went well:
I started learning Adobe Illustrator, which is an excellent tool for digital design and illustration.
I found inspiration for two projects: an Italy-themed diorama and a shadow box featuring the David statue.
I was able to connect my project to things that I care about, such as my Italian heritage and your visit to Italy.
I created rough sketches of My ideas, which is a crucial first step in the design process.
What didn't go as well:
I faced some challenges while using Adobe Illustrator for the first time.
I got distracted a lot and could have gotten a lot more work done
Something to be proud of:
I successfully brainstormed and conceptualized two meaningful projects that reflect my personal experiences and interests.
And I think that I got a lot of good work done despite the challenges I faced such as me getting distracted a lot
Goal for tomorrow:
To finnish my diorama on Adobe Illustrator including my red line outline
