Day 5: Ian A

Going into the second week I was eager to find out how we would mount our pieces. Once Mr. Grisbee showed us the piece that he designed with several layers and multiple intricate designs, it encouraged me to focus this week as if my projects could end up being spectacular like his. Although the day didn't go off the I intended it to go, my peers and I ended up being extremely distracted by several things which caused our progression to slow down but after a quick talk with Mr. Grisbee, we ended the day off well.

At the end of the day I was locked in and I finished a lot of work, for both my diorama and shadowbox, this was really good as it motivated me to just finish the project by tomorrow, so it can be ready to be lasercut. Although I was working at a good pace I received some devastating news about my borders, but the work isn't hard it will just take a bit as I am already encountering some difficulty doing it. I was proud of my final product design, as I said all I needed to work on was the border, but otherwise, I completed a lot of work, and when I saw all the artboards put together I was very proud of my finished results. Some goals for tomorrow are to finish my border and both pieces and another goal is if there are any errors when the cut occurs I will fix them by the end of the day, and lastly I want to be more productive and not get distracted easily by my peers
