Day 7 : Matteo A

Today was such a great and productive day. It's one of those days that fills you with pride and satisfaction. The biggest highlight was completing almost all of my David statue. Now, all that’s left to do is finish the wood frame, which feels like such a small task compared to the journey of getting to this point. Seeing the statue in its current, nearly complete form made me so happy because it looks refined and polished, better than I envisioned it. It’s amazing to see the effort and time I’ve poured into this project come together so beautifully.

But that wasn’t the only rewarding part of the day. In addition to making so much progress on my own project, I also had the chance to help some of my peers with theirs. Once again, I found myself sharing what I’ve learned, this time guiding them through steps like properly cutting foam strips. I took the time to explain things clearly, using visual aids and breaking down each step so they felt confident about what they were doing. Their responses showed me that they genuinely appreciated the guidance, which made the experience even better. It’s such a great feeling to know that I can support others while still focusing on my own work.

Reflecting on the day, I feel truly fulfilled. Completing such an important part of my own project while helping others achieve their goals was the perfect balance of individual accomplishment and community support. It reminded me how much I value sharing knowledge and working as part of a team, even when the projects themselves are personal. Days like today make me excited for what’s ahead because they show how much can be achieved with focus, creativity, and collaboration.
